PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

Choose your size.
Plan your run.

Wall shelving creates a single merchandise display face along the store perimeter. Coordinate it with central gondolas to organise grocery, convenience and other retail spaces.

Choose from the same GR80C nominal heights and bay widths as the central-aisle range. The standard reference build has 3 upper shelves and 1 base shelf on one display face.

Read the shelving buying guide
Read dimensions consistently.

Bay width is measured between upright centres. Base shelf depth and upper shelf depth are separate nominal dimensions. Allow for the rear structure, wall clearance and aisle space in the finished layout.

PLAN THE RUN, THEN THE PARTS

Start once. Extend in bays.

Starter and add-on bays look similar when assembled. The difference is the support structure included in each unit.

3 connected bays = 1 starter + 2 add-onsConcept front view · Each new run starts with its own starter.
01 / STARTER

The first bay in each run.

A starter includes two upright-and-base assemblies, one at each end of the first bay. It forms a complete independent unit when supplied and installed with its specified components.

02 / ADD-ON

Share a support. Add a bay.

An add-on shares a complete upright-and-base assembly with its neighbour and adds one new assembly. The remaining per-bay configuration stays the same. It must connect to the matching run and cannot stand alone.

03 / ORDERING EXAMPLE

Two separate rows?

For two rows of three bays each, plan 2 starters + 4 add-ons = 6 bays. Each bay has one display face. Specify upper shelf levels, shelf depths and any end finishing for each run.

Examples explain the shared-upright concept. Final part quantities, connections and installation requirements depend on the selected series and approved layout.

HOW THE SYSTEM IS BUILT

One system. Matching components.

Uprights with single-sided bases support the run. Back panels form the rear display surface, while matching brackets carry the upper shelves.

01

Uprights & single-sided bases

Uprights support the display levels, with bases extending towards the merchandise face. Match support assemblies across every connected bay.

Confirm height, levelling and installation requirements.

02

Back panels

Solid or perforated panels provide the rear display surface. Panel interfaces determine which matching accessories can be used.

Confirm panel modules, connections and accessory compatibility.

03

Shelves & brackets

One base shelf forms the lowest display level. Upper shelves sit on matching brackets at the selected heights.

Reference build: one 400 mm base shelf and three 350 mm upper shelves.

04

Price strips & accessories

PVC price strips identify products along the shelf edge. Dividers, front guards and compatible hooks can be specified for the merchandise.

Reference build has four price strips; additional accessories are listed in the quotation.

REFERENCE BUILD

Materials, component by component.

These material details apply to the single-sided solid-back reference build: 900 mm nominal bay width, 400 mm base shelf depth and 1500 mm nominal height, with three 350 mm upper shelves.

Thicknesses refer to the named components. Material details for other sizes and perforated panels are confirmed separately.

Reference-build material details
ComponentMaterial / thickness
Solid steel back panels & base front panelsQ235A cold-rolled steel, 0.6 mm thick.
350 mm three-hook bracketsQ235A cold-rolled steel, 2.3 mm thick.
Price stripsPVC.
Other structural componentsUpright, base, shelf and reinforcement material details and thicknesses to be confirmed for the selected build.

Keep the quotation complete. Confirm which shelves, brackets, back panels, bases and accessories are included. A bay count is the starting point for a component list.

MATCH THE MERCHANDISE

Choose a display direction.

Choose solid steel or perforated steel back panels. Panel materials, mounting details and accessory compatibility are confirmed for the selected configuration.

Solid steel back panel

A continuous backdrop for shelf-led merchandising.

Reference build uses 0.6 mm Q235A cold-rolled steel panels. Confirm the specification for your selected build.

Perforated steel back panel

A direction for mixed shelf and hanging displays.

Confirm hole pattern, panel thickness, hook interfaces and accessory loading for the selected configuration.

Complete your wall display. Plan price strips, shelf dividers, front guards, compatible hooks and aisle signage alongside the shelving.

SITE & INSTALLATION

Plan the wall and the aisle together.

The shelving uses single-sided upright-and-base assemblies positioned along the wall. Confirm the site conditions and installation details for the complete run.

01

Wall & floor conditions

Identify the wall substrate, skirting, columns, sockets and floor level before agreeing the final run position.

02

Finished footprint

Allow for the rear structure and any wall clearance as well as the base shelf depth. Check adjacent doors, equipment and circulation space.

03

Fixings & restraints

Agree any anchors or anti-tip restraints for the selected configuration and actual wall conditions. A wall-facing position alone does not define a fixing method.

BEFORE YOU ENQUIRE

Common buying questions.

From the first bay to a complete store, start with a shared understanding of the configuration.

What is single-sided wall shelving?

It is a shelving run with one merchandise display face, usually positioned along the store perimeter. It uses single-sided upright-and-base assemblies and can be coordinated with double-sided gondolas in the central aisles.

Does wall shelving mean wall-mounted shelving?

This GR80C configuration uses uprights and single-sided bases positioned along the wall. Fixings and any anti-tip restraints are agreed for the actual wall conditions and selected assembly; the product name alone does not specify a wall-mounting method.

How do starter and add-on bays work?

A starter includes two upright-and-base assemblies. Each connected add-on shares the complete assembly at its connection and adds one new assembly. An add-on cannot stand alone, and each separate run begins with its own starter.

What sizes and shelf levels are available?

Nominal heights are 1500 / 1800 / 2000 / 2100 mm and nominal bay widths are 600 / 700 / 900 / 1000 / 1200 mm. Base shelves are 350 / 400 / 450 mm deep and upper shelves are 300 / 350 / 400 mm deep. The standard reference build has 3 upper shelves plus 1 base shelf; upper shelf quantity can be customised.

What material, colours and shelf loads can I specify?

The material is Q235A Cold Roll Steel Sheet. Standard colours are white, black and grey. Shelf load capacity is 60–120 kg per shelf, depending on configuration. Component thicknesses, custom colours and the coating process are confirmed for the order.

What should I send for a quotation or layout?

Send the available wall lengths, entrances, fixed obstacles and equipment, plus your merchandise, required shelf levels, destination and target date. Include photographs of the wall and floor where possible so installation requirements can be reviewed.
